What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Tuesday, August 9, 2021, a new traffic configuration will be implemented on Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Black Creek Drive. This configuration is expected to remain in place for approximately five (5) weeks. As early as Thursday August 5, 2021, crews will be preforming overnight wet utility connections on Eglinton Avenue West. To facilitate this work safely, eastbound traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Black Creek Drive will be closed between approximately 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. for one (1) night. As early as June 30, the westbound lane of Eglinton Avenue W between Black Creek Dr and Weston Rd will be closed on weekday evenings to facilitate wet utility connections work. Closures will be in place between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am, on the evenings of June 30, July 1, and July 2, 2021. Westbound vehicles will be detoured south on Black Creek Dr.

On June 21, 2021, crews will be continuing wet utility connections work on Eglinton Avenue West between Black Creek Dr and Weston Rd. To facilitate this work, crews will be working overnight within the existing work zones, between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am.

As early as June 7, the westbound lane of Eglinton Avenue W between Black Creek Dr and Weston Rd will be closed on weekday evenings to facilitate wet utility connections work. Closures will be in place between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am, on the evenings of June 7 – June 11, June 14 – June 18, 2021. Westbound vehicles will be detoured south on Black Creek Dr.
