What Work is Taking Place?
As part of continued construction and traffic staging set up at Keelesdale Park Drive and Eglinton Avenue West for construction of the West LRT Portal and Elevated Guideway traffic restrictions in this area are changing.
Crews will be working within the eastbound curb lane west of the Black Creek Drive and Eglinton Avenue West intersection, chipping concrete from the existing storm manhole and excavating two new sanitary manholes. Read more »
The tunnelled section between Brentcliffe Road and Black Creek Drive is complete, and last year, construction activities began at all 15 underground stations including Kennedy Station. The preparatory works at the at-grade portion of the line, between Brentcliffe Road and Kennedy Station, also started this summer. Since the end of school, many work zones have been set up for construction and some major intersections along Eglinton Avenue have changed.
