Updated: Early Morning Concrete Pours at the Brentcliffe Portal in December 2017

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will be pouring the concrete foundation and roof slabs for the Brentcliffe Portal. Work will be conducted within the existing work zone located on Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street. Due to the large size of these concrete pours, work will start at 4:00 a.m. in order to reduce impact to traffic in the area. Read more »

Update: Geotechnical Equipment Installations and Monitoring on Thursfield Crescent for the Brentcliffe Portal and Surface Stops

What Work is Taking Place?

As part of the ongoing construction works for the future Brentcliffe Portal and Surface Stops, above ground and in-ground monitoring points will be installed on the City Right-of-Way, which may include the roadway, sidewalks and/or driveways on Thursfield Crescent.

Once installed, the instruments will remain at these locations for the length of the project. Monitoring allows crews to evaluate the impact of construction works. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will relocate an existing sanitary sewer line on Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street to support the upgrade of existing infrastructure at the future Brentcliffe Portal and Sunnybrook Park Stop. 

To minimize traffic disruption for the community, transit users and local businesses, this work is being done overnight. Paid Duty Police Officers will maintain safe traffic flow. Read more »
