Emergency Water Shut Off at Keelesdale Station June 3, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Keelesdale Station are performing an emergency water shut-off along Eglinton Avenue West, between Yarrow Road and Trethewey Drive/Keele Street, on Wednesday June 3, 2020. Water will be shut off from as early as 7:30am until approximately 10:00am. Crews will turn water back on as soon as it is safe to do so. During this time, there will be no water available from the taps or toilets. Access to businesses will be maintained. There will be no impacts to TTC bus service. Read more »

UPDATED: Closure on Rosemount Drive North of Eglinton Avenue East - Extended Until Mid August 2020

What Work is Taking Place

As part of the ongoing works to replace the existing culvert at Massey Creek, the current traffic configuration at Rosemount Drive and Eglinton Avenue East will be extended until mid-August, 2020. Rosemount Drive will remain closed north of Eglinton Avenue East and north-south through traffic will be prohibited for the duration of the work. Read more »

UPDATED: Upcoming Hydro Utility Installation Work at Berwick Avenue

What Work is Taking Place?

Since early May 2020, crews have been performing hydro utility installation work in the existing work zone on Berwick Avenue and in the Berwick-Hillsdale laneway.  A hydro chamber was constructed and now, cable work is being completed in the north half of the laneway. Approximately one (1) week of work remains. Once complete, the area will be restored.

Notice of Chipping at Chaplin Station May 28 – June 5, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

Beginning Thursday May 28, crews will resume chipping of a concrete wall at Chaplin Station located between the Tertiary Entrance and the station box.  This work is will take place between 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.  Chipping is the process of using an excavator and jackhammer to remove concrete and hardened material. Chipping occurs periodically as deep excavation progresses.  Noise and vibration can be expected.
