In October 2016, crews will begin relocation of existing telecommunication lines in the vicinity of Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East. Telecommunication lines within man holes as well within pre-existing duct banks will be relocated in preparation for station construction. Construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line, including 15 underground stations, is underway. Since the end of school, many construction sites have been set up for station construction and the set-up of some major intersections along Eglinton Avenue has been changed.

What Work is Taking Place?
A section of the existing watermain will be replaced on Eglinton Avenue East just east of Don Mills Road.
Timing
Pending a City of Toronto permit, work is expected to begin as early as August 26, 2016, and will continue for approximately up to two weeks. Work could be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Read more »
