As our constructors get ready to ramp up construction activity at the surface section of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT project, clearing, grubbing, and pruning and protection activity continues as part of preparatory work. This activity commenced two years ago and is done on an ongoing, as-needed basis to support the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Project (ECLRT). LOW WATER PRESSURE NOTICE: Watermain Connection Work for Science Centre Station

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews are working to replace an existing watermain north of Eglinton Avenue East within the existing work zone at the northeast corner of Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East. This work supports the upgrade of existing water infrastructure around the future Science Centre Station.

Starting in mid-March for approximately three (3) weeks, work to connect the new watermain section to the existing infrastructure will take place. During these works, residents in the catchment area may experience lower than normal water pressure. Read more »

Overnight Stormwater/Sanitary Relocation for Science Centre Station: Eglinton Lane Reductions & Closure of Ferrand Drive

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will relocate an existing stormwater line on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East from just west of Don Mills Road to approximately Gervais Drive and make connections to existing infrastructure on the south side of Eglinton to support the upgrade of existing water infrastructure at the future Science Centre Station. In an effort to minimize disruption to local traffic and commuters, work will be performed overnight in stages. Read more »
