As part of continued support of excavation works (shoring) for the future Kennedy Station, crews will continue work on the north end of the GO platform as part of the GO Transit improvements.
To facilitate these improvements, installation of support of excavation are also being made to the GO Transit Stouffville Corridor at Kennedy GO Station starting as early as Saturday, September 8, 2018. Read more »

As part of construction of the future Kennedy Station, crews continue to upgrade and relocate wet utilities along Eglinton Ave between Ionview Road and Kennedy Road.
Crews continue to work on installing the new storm and sanitary system from Ionview to Kennedy and will complete their work with a final connection to the existing manholes located within the Kennedy and Eglinton intersection. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?

As part of the ongoing works to build the future Kennedy Station, crews will be working on the East Service Road installing a new sanitary sewer. This work is expected to begin as early as Friday, August 10 to Friday, August 17, 2018.

Kennedy Station will be the terminal station at the eastern end of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line. Kennedy Station is an interchange station with connections to the GO Transit Stouffville Line, the TTC Scarborough RT, the TTC Bloor- Danforth subway, and a TTC bus terminal. Construction of the future Kennedy Station as part of the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) will include upgrades to the existing Kennedy Station infrastructure. Read more »
As part of the continued support of excavation works (shoring) and utility relocations for the future Kennedy Station, traffic staging at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue East will be changing in late July. Shoring began in April 2018 and will continue in phases at the intersection, taking approximately twelve (12) months to complete. Read more »
As part of construction of the future Kennedy Station, crews will resume relocating watermain and sanitary utilities on Transway Crescent, starting as soon as July 15, 2018.
To reduce impacts to the community and commuters this work will be performed overnight and will take approximately three (3) weeks to complete. The work is part of the larger upgrade and relocation of utilities for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.

As part of construction of the future Eglinton Crosstown LRT, improvements are also being made to the GO Transit Stouffville Corridor at Kennedy GO Station. Improvements include building a new west platform; rebuilding the existing east platform; constructing a new ticketing building for the GO Station; and building a new south pedestrian underpass.
