We are working steadily in the east on the Eglinton Crosstown. In early April, there will be drilling in the middle of the roadway (Eglinton Avenue East), as crews begin the support of excavation work (shoring) to construct a tunnel to the new Kennedy Station. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?

Kennedy Station and its environs are changing every day.

As part of GO Transit Improvements at Kennedy, crews will close a southern portion of the existing east platform on the Stouffville Line as early as Monday, February 19, 2018 to facilitate shoring for the GO underpass, the construction of a new pedestrian underpass, and the shoring for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Box under the GO corridor. Kennedy Station North Entrance Demolition and Pedestrian Tunnel Closure

Kennedy Station will be the terminal station at the eastern end of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line. Kennedy Station is an interchange station with connections to the GO Transit Stouffville Line, the TTC Scarborough RT, the TTC Bloor-Danforth subway, and a TTC bus terminal. Construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Kennedy Station will include upgrades to the existing Kennedy Station infrastructure.
