What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting civil road work in relation to road widening works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East between Pharmacy Avenue and Hakimi Avenue. Starting as early as April 19th and lasting for approximately one (1) month there will be a sidewalk closure on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, between Pharmacy Avenue and Hakimi Avenue in order to safely carry out the work. As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be conducting civil road work in relation to road widening works on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East between Pharmacy Avenue and Lebovic Avenue. Work began in February 2019 and will be extended until the end of April 2019.
There will be sidewalk closure on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East between Pharmacy Avenue and Lebovic Avenue in order to safely carry out the work.

As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will continue to relocate and upgrade existing overhead and underground telecommunication between Victoria Park Avenue and Birchmount Road.
Telecom work has been extended until the Spring 2019.
