North and South Platform Shelter Installation at Golden Mile Stop - October 14, 2020

 

 

What Work is Taking Place?

As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will install permanent shelters at the Golden Mile stop north and south platform. North platform installation will begin as early as October 14, 2020 for approximately three days and south platform installation will follow for approximately three days.

Traffic Configuration Change at Forest Hill Station- as early as late September 2020

What Work Is Taking Place?

As early as late September 2020, a new traffic configuration will be implemented at Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue.  A dedicated northbound left turn lane from Bathurst Street onto Eglinton Avenue will be added with an advance signal.  All other turns at the intersection will remain prohibited.  The new traffic configuration is expected to remain in place for several months.

Updated: Extended Hours at Laird Station (24 hour work) - September 30, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as September 30, 2020, permanent works at the Main Entrance will take place 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday for approximately five (5) weeks. The current extended hours (6:00 a.m. -1:00 a.m.) at both entrance shafts and in the tunnels, will continue through to the end of the year.
