Chaplin Crescent will remain closed between Eglinton Avenue West and the Chaplin-Russel Hill laneway until early-May 2022, as crews continue road and sidewalk restoration works. Eglinton Avenue West will remain open. Significant traffic changes will be in effect. Please carefully read the details below.

What Work Is Taking Place?
On Monday, April 25, 2022, crews will perform watermain work at Cedarvale Station. A water shut-off is required to facilitate the work. The water shut-off will start at 11:00 p.m. for approximately seven (7) hours. Water service will be restored upon completion of the work. Please carefully read the water shut-off details below.
Water Shut-off Details:
TTC’s Line 1 subway will be closed between Lawrence and St. Clair stations from Saturday April 23– Sunday April 24, 2022, to facilitate construction activities for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, including platform extension and mechanical electrical works. Work will take place on a 24-hour basis from Saturday April 23– Sunday April 24, 2022. Berwick Avenue will remain open while this work takes place. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?
In early May 2022, crews at Oakwood Station will begin sidewalk restoration works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, east and west of the Main Entrance site (refer to map). This work will take place between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for approximately one (1) week. Short-term pedestrian rerouting may be required to complete this work.
