On Monday September 21, 2020, sidewalk and curb restoration works will begin on the southside of Hillsdale Avenue between Duplex Avenue and Yonge Street. As part of this work, part of the existing sidewalk and roadway will be removed. Concrete and asphalt will be used to construct the new sidewalk and curbs. Read more »

On Tuesday September 8, 2020, Berwick Avenue will be closed at Yonge Street while a concrete pour will be carried out at the Berwick Portal site. The concrete will form part of the portal foundation. A concrete pump will be placed on Berwick Avenue and several concrete trucks will enter the site each hour.

What Work is Taking Place?
Since late 2018, crews have been working extended construction hours to complete deep excavation of the future Eglinton Station. In spring 2020, underpinning of TTC’s Eglinton Station box was completed. The TTC box is now fully supported and deep excavation continues safely underneath. Read more »
What Work is Taking Place?
The bus loop at Eglinton West Station, located at Allen Road and Eglinton Avenue, which closed in late March 2020 to accommodate roof construction for the future Cedarvale LRT Station, has been extended until mid-fall 2020. Read more »

On Thursday August 13, 2020, a concrete pour will be carried out at the Eglinton Station work zone located on the southeast corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Duplex Avenue. The concrete will form part of the station invert slab. Concrete pumps will be setup within the work zone and concrete trucks will travel eastbound on Eglinton Avenue to Duplex Avenue to deliver concrete to the site.

The concrete will form part of the station invert slab.
