Gantry Crane Delivery and Installation at Avenue Station Secondary Entrance

What Work is Taking Place?

Beginning Wednesday November 22, a large overhead Gantry Crane will be delivered to Avenue Station and installed at the Secondary Entrance site.  

Several truckloads of large steel columns that the overhead crane will sit on will be delivered to the site.  Due to the size of these deliveries, trucks will be backed-in to the existing construction zone east of Avenue Road through the west gate.  Short traffic interruptions can be expected while these deliveries take place. Rescheduled: Overnight Sanitary Sewer Relocation for Brentcliffe Portal

Eglinton Avenue East Lane Closure between Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street Starting Friday, December 1 at 9:00 p.m.

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will relocate an existing sanitary sewer line on Eglinton Avenue East between Brentcliffe Road and Leslie Street to support the upgrade of existing infrastructure at the future Brentcliffe Portal and Sunnybrook Park Stop. Read more »

Update: Geotechnical Equipment Installations and Monitoring on Thursfield Crescent for the Brentcliffe Portal and Surface Stops

What Work is Taking Place?

As part of the ongoing construction works for the future Brentcliffe Portal and Surface Stops, above ground and in-ground monitoring points will be installed on the City Right-of-Way, which may include the roadway, sidewalks and/or driveways on Thursfield Crescent.

Once installed, the instruments will remain at these locations for the length of the project. Monitoring allows crews to evaluate the impact of construction works. Read more »

Kennedy Station North Entrance Demolition, Pedestrian Tunnel Closure and Relocation of the TTC Kennedy Station Bus Loop and Passenger Platform

Kennedy Station will be the terminal station at the eastern end of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT line. Kennedy Station is an interchange station with connections to the GO Transit Stouffville Line, the TTC Scarborough RT, the TTC Bloor-Danforth subway, and a TTC bus terminal. Construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Kennedy Station will include upgrades to the existing Kennedy Station infrastructure.   Read more »
