Updated: Overnight TTC 363 Bus Re-routing for Maintenance and Monitoring Work at Eglinton West Station Bus Loop

What Work is Taking Place?

In order to safely access geotechnical monitoring devices and carry out maintenance activities within Eglinton West Station’s bus loop, crews will need to close the bus loop overnight from 2am-5am throughout 2019. The 363 TTC bus route from 2:30am – 5am will be re-routed nightly to accommodate the work (route change depicted on the back of this notice). Read more »

Overnight Concrete Pour at Mount Pleasant Station Wednesday April 24, 2019

On Wednesday April 24, 2019, at 11:00 p.m., crews will perform a large concrete pour in the southwest work zone at Mt Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East.  The concrete will form part of the roof of Mount Pleasant Station. Continuity is critical to the integrity of the pour, therefore the pour will be conducted overnight when traffic is lighter, making it easier for trucks to access the site.

Telecommunication Relocations at Victoria Park Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East

WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

In support of construction of the future Eglinton Crosstown LRT stops and guideway (dedicated transit lane), crews will be relocating telecommunications infrastructure on Victoria Park Avenue at Eglinton Avenue East. The work will be completed in two (2) stages (depicted below), beginning as early as April 22, 2019 and continue for approximately one (1) week.

Overnight Hydro Utility Work at Mount Pleasant Station Week of Monday April 22, 2019

What Work is Taking Place?

Starting Monday April 22, crews will work overnight to complete hydro utility work in the southwest work zone at Mt Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East.  This work will be carried out on a 24 hour basis for approximately five (5) days in preparing for the upcoming station roof concrete pour.  Crews will endeavour to minimize disruption as much as possible. Guideway Construction on Eglinton Avenue East At Celestica Bridge

WHAT WORK IS TAKING PLACE?

Lanes will be realigned to accommodate guideway construction on Eglinton Avenue East at the Celestica Bridge. Traffic is expected to change to the configuration depicted below as early as April 23, 2019 and continue for approximately three (3) months. 

All works are in support of the construction of the Crosstown LRT tracks and guideway (dedicated transit lane) in the centre of Eglinton Avenue East.
