Preparatory work for the future station at Keele Street - Monday November 2 to Thursday November 5

What: Crews will inspect the condition of sewer lines with a closed circuit television (CCTV) truck via manholes in the vicinity of the future station site. Where required, crews may also use a hydro-vac truck to clean and safely dispose of debris.

When: Crews will begin working as early as Monday, November 2, 2015. The work will take approximately three days to complete and will occur overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Work could be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Although every effort will be made to keep disruptions to a minimum, some noise associated with this work can be expected.

Where: Inspection activity will be visible in these areas:

• The north and south sides of Eglinton Avenue West, west of Yarrow Road, and east of Keele Street
• The intersection of Yore Road and Tretheway Drive to Eglinton Avenue 
• The south-east corner of Keele Street at Eglinton Avenue 
• The south-east corner of Yarrow Road at Eglinton Avenue 

Traffic Details:

• Temporary parking and sidewalk restrictions may be in place along Eglinton Avenue West, Yarrow Road and Keele Street/Trethewey Drive during this activity. 
• Intermittent and temporary lane closures may be required along the eastbound and westbound lanes of Eglinton Avenue West from Yarrow Road to Keele Street; the southbound lanes along Trethewey Drive and Keele Street; and the northbound lane on Yarrow Road. 
• A paid-duty officer (PDO) will be in place to provide traffic control assistance at intersections, as required.

Pedestrians:

Access to and from properties will be maintained.  As always, please take care when travelling near construction areas.
