What Work is Taking Place?

  • Geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring is required for the protection of the existing buildings and underground utilities by monitoring movements of the ground, support of excavation, utilities, structures and groundwater regime, prior, during and following construction in order to assess the need for implementation of mitigation measures.
  • Crews will drill approximately 15+ boreholes in the Cedarvale Station area to install geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring equipment.

Timing

  • Work is expected to begin in early October 2016 and is expected to be completed within two months.
  • Work is permitted:
