TRAFFIC CHANGE AT MOUNT PLEASANT STATION

 

What Work is Taking Place?

On Wednesday November 14, crews will implement a new traffic stage at the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East.  Traffic on Mt. Pleasant Rd will be shifted to the west, allowing crews to work in the southeast corner of the intersection.

Hours of Work

  • Wednesday November 14, 2018. This traffic configuration will be in place for three months
  • Permitted hours are 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday
  • Note: work may be delayed or rescheduled due to changing or unforeseen circumstances

Upcoming Construction Staging

What to Expect

  • Noise from construction equipment, including hydro-vacuum trucks, concrete trucks, dump trucks, loaders, excavators, pumps, water truck and generators can be expected
  • Material storage within the work zone can be expected
  • Site lighting can be expected

Traffic Details

  • The east crosswalk will be temporarily closed and the west crosswalk will be reinstated
  • TTC stops may be temporarily relocated
  • Pedestrians and motorists can expect delays when traveling through the intersection
