Concrete Pours at Fairbank Station - December 1 & 2, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

Crews at Fairbank continue to perform large concrete pours. On Tuesday December 1, work will begin as early as 6:00am and the pour will be ongoing for approximately six hours. Concrete pumps will be placed in the laneway parallel to Eglinton Ave W, south of the intersection. Concrete trucks will be staged on Dynevor Rd. The laneway parallel to Eglinton Ave W between Dynevor Rd and Dufferin St will be closed for the duration of the pour. On Wednesday December 2, work will begin as early as 6:00 am and the pour will be ongoing for approximately 11 hours. Concrete pumps will be placed within the Main Entrance work zone. Trucks will be staged on Dufferin St. Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave W will remain open while this work takes place.

What to Expect

Concrete trucks will be staged on Dynevor Rd on Tuesday December 1. Concrete trucks will be staged on Dufferin St, south of Eglinton Ave W on Wednesday December 2. Access to properties along Eglinton Ave W, Dufferin St, and Dynevor Rd will be maintained. Noise from concrete trucks can be expected.

 HOURS OF WORK

• On Tuesday December 1, the concrete pour will begin as early as 6:00am and last for approximately six hours
• On Wednesday December 2, the concrete pour will begin as early as 6:00am and last for approximately 11 hours
• The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
• Work may be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
• This work may be longer or shorter than expected
