Sidewalk and Curb Reinstatement at Municipal Drive: April 29 – May 29, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

Starting as early as Thursday April 29 and lasting for approximately one month, crews will be reinstating sidewalks and curbs, including electrical works and permanent traffic signals, at Eglinton Ave W and Municipal Dr. Traffic on Eglinton will be reduced to one lane in either direction. Left turns onto Municipal Dr will be restricted for traffic travelling eastbound. All pedestrian routes will remain the same.

What to Expect

As early as Thursday April 29, crews will close one eastbound and one westbound lane on Eglinton Ave W at Municipal Dr. Noise from construction equipment can be expected. Delays are expected while travelling through the intersection, please prepare extra time for your journey.

HOURS OF WORK

• Crews will be working regular hours, from as early as 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
• Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
• The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
• This work may take longer or shorter than expected

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• At Municipal Dr and Eglinton Ave W, traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction
• Left turns onto Municipal Dr will be restricted for traffic travelling eastbound
• All other traffic restrictions will remain in place

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• All pedestrian routes will remain the same
• Access to businesses and properties will be maintained

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• TTC bus routes will be accommodated and service will not be affected
