Laneway Closure for Main Entrance Construction at Oakwood Station - Late November 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

Through late November 2021, crews at Oakwood Station will continue work within the laneway north of the Main Entrance site to facilitate construction works, including material deliveries and stair installations. The laneway will be closed to through-traffic to facilitate these activities safely.

This work is expected to take place periodically Monday - Friday between 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please note that the laneway will not be closed every day, only when required. Property access within the laneway will be maintained at all times. For more information, please review the complete notice.

What to Expect

The laneway north of Oakwood Station’s Main Entrance site, located between Livingstone Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West, will be closed. For safety purposes, no through-traffic will be permitted in the laneway during the closure. Use of construction equipment, such as a telehandler and forklift, will be required to complete this work. Noise from construction activities - including hammering, material loading, and crane use - can be expected.

Expect delays while travelling through the laneway. Crews will endeavor to minimize disruption as much as possible, while this work take place.
