Delayed - Sidewalk Restoration at Fairbank Station on Dufferin Street - December 15, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Wednesday December 15, 2021, crews at Fairbank Station will be performing sidewalk restoration work on the west side of Dufferin Street, between 1840 Eglinton Avenue West and 2388 Dufferin Street. To facilitate this work, the west sidewalk on Dufferin Street will be periodically closed between 1840 Eglinton Avenue West and 2388 Dufferin Street.Temporary pedestrian rerouting may be in effect. The affected businesses and properties have been notified directly. This work is expected to take place for one (1) week between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. 

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking and trucks, can be expected. The sidewalk will reopen upon completion of the work

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Wednesday December 15, 2021, for approximately one (1) week.
• This work will take place between 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
• This work may be longer or shorter than expected. 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• No changes to the current traffic configuration as a result of this work.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• The sidewalk on the west side of Dufferin Street will be periodically closed between 1840 Eglinton Avenue West and 2388 Dufferin Street.
• Pedestrians may be temporarily rerouted around areas where sidewalk construction is taking place.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations
