Lane Reductions for Protective Utility Works at the CP Bridge
What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Monday, January 10, 2022, crews at Mount Dennis will be preforming protective utility works under the CP Bridge on Eglinton Avenue West. To facilitate this work safely, eastbound and westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction under the CP Bridge. This work will take approximately two (2) months to complete and will be carried out in two phases (refer to maps).
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present, while traffic changes are being implemented.
HOURS OF WORK
o Phase One: One (1) month
o Phase Two: One (1) month
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
Eastbound and westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction under the CP Bridge.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations.
