Road Restoration Preparation – Eglinton Avenue East, Leslie Street to Don Mills Road

What Work is Taking Place?

In preparation for the upcoming final road restoration works, crews will perform road milling works on Eglinton Avenue East between Leslie Street and Don Mills Road. This work will begin as early as Monday, July 4, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. and take approximately five (5) nights to complete. Work is expected to take place overnight between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Traffic will be periodically reduced while this work takes place. What to Expect

Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities including asphalt removals (milling) and asphalt paving, can be expected. Access to all streets and driveways will be maintained for the duration of this work. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 4, 2022, for approximately five (5) nights.
  • This work is expected to take place overnight between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
  • This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
  •  Work may be longer or shorter than expected.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Traffic on Eglinton Avenue East between Leslie Street and Don Mills Road will be periodically reduced nightly between approximately 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

  • All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations.
