Line Painting Works on Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive (Monday July 18, 2022)

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday, July 18, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. crews will be performing line painting works on Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive by the Laird Stations Main and Secondary Entrance. To facilitate this work, occasional overnight lane reductions will be in place on Eglinton Avenue East and Larid Drive between approximately 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Access to all properties will be maintained at all times. Line painting will take approximately four (4) nights to complete; upon completion, the lanes will reopen.  

What to Expect 

Crews will be moving along Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive to perform line painting works. Occasional overnight lane reductions will be required, expect delays while travelling through the area. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Upon completion of the works, the lanes will reopen.

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Monday, July 18, 2022, for approximately four (4) nights.
• Work is expected to take place between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
• This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
• Work may be longer or shorter than expected.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Occasional overnight lane reductions will be in place on Eglinton Avenue East and Laird Drive by Laird Stations Main and Secondary Entrance.
• One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.
• Access to all properties will be maintained.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• While crosswalks are being painted pedestrians will be redirected around the painting or directed to use the opposite crossing.

TRANSIT INFORMATION

• Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
