Pedestrian Route Change at Cedarvale Station - Early October 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

In early October 2022, a new pedestrian route will be implemented at Cedarvale Station to accommodate utility installations and landscaping works. The pedestrian walkway on the north side of the Main Entrance site will close. The Benner Park trail that runs parallel to Allen Road South will close between Whitmore Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West. The sidewalk on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West between Park Hill Road and Allen Road South will reopen. This configuration will remain in place through early Fall 2022.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

• The new pedestrian route will be implemented in early October 2022 and will remain in place through early Fall 2022
• This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work
