What Work is Taking Place?
On Thursday, October 27, 2022, crews will begin sidewalk restoration works on the west side of Mount Pleasant Road, north of Eglinton Avenue East. To facilitate this work safely, the south driveway at 808 Mount Pleasant Road will be temporarily closed. The closure will remain in place for approximately five (5) days. The north driveway at 808 Mount Pleasant Road will remain open during this work. Once the work is completed, the south driveway will reopen.
Access to parking at 808 Mount Pleasant Road will be maintained via the north driveway only. Noise from construction activity, including trucks, concrete breaking, paving, utility work, and use of heavy equipment can be expected. Traffic barrels, fencing, and signage will be in place to delineate work zones. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection.
HOURS OF WORK
• Starting on Thursday, October 27, 2022, for approximately five (5) days.
• The driveway is expected to reopen on the morning of Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
• This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
• The south driveway at 808 Mount Pleasant Road will be closed while this work takes place.
• The north driveway at 808 Mount Pleasant Road will remain open.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
• Pedestrians will be rerouted around the work zone as required.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
