What Work is Taking Place?
On Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 1:00 a.m. and continuing until Monday, November 28, 2022, at 5:30 a.m. crews will be shifting GO Train service from the west tracks to the east tracks at Kennedy Station. To facilitate this work safely, train service will not be available on the Stouffville Line during the work period. Buses will serve all stations with the exception of Milliken, Agincourt and Kennedy GO. TTC service will not be affected. Work is expected to take place on a 24-hour basis.
Upon completion of the work, the west GO platform will close, and GO Train service will resume at the east platform through 2022. Pedestrian will be rerouted through Kennedy TTC Subway Station. Accessibility shuttle services will be provided to riders with disabilities who wish to travel to and from Kennedy GO East Platform and Kennedy TTC Subway Station. Accessibility shuttle services will require a 48-hour advanced booking. Please call GO Transit Contact Centre at 416-869-3200 or 1-888-438-6646 (toll free) for bookings. Pick-up and drop-off locations for the accessibility shuttle will be located in the Kennedy Station parking lot and the GO customer pick-up and drop-off (PPUDO) parking lot (refer to map).
What to Expect
There will be no GO Train service at Kennedy Station for the duration of this work. Fencing and signage, will be in place to delineate the work zones. Work will take place on a 24-hour basis. Noise from construction activity can be expected. Expect delays while travelling through the area. Upon completion of the work, GO Train service will resume at the east platform.
