As early as Monday March 22, 2021, a temporary traffic configuration change will be implemented at Laird Drive and Eglinton Avenue to accommodate material hoisting, escalator delivery and crane disassembly. Laird Dr south of Eglinton Ave will be reduced to one northbound shared through-right turn lane, one northbound left turn lane and one southbound lane. The configuration will be in place for approximately one (1) month.

What Work is Taking Place?
As early as November 18, 2020, crews will begin backfilling activities at the south west corner of Eglinton and Laird Drive. Work will take place between the hours of 9:00p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday to Saturday for a period of two (2) weeks.

Overnight working hours began at the main entrance on September 30, 2020. It has now been extended through to December 18, 2020. Permanent works at the Main Entrance will take place 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Beginning November 14, 2020, crews will perform a concrete pour at the main entrance work zone at Laird Station. Preparatory work may begin as early as 6:00 a.m., the pour will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
